Additional information:
The Russian Emperor Peter the Great built the Baroque ensemble of Kadriorg as a gift for his wife Catherine I. The well-preserved main hall is the best example of Baroque architecture in all of Northern Europe. The main exposition of the collection of the Kadriorg Art Museum (Western European and Russian art from 16th–20th century) is valuable and quite remarkable.
